We would like to give you an update regarding the current COVID-19 situation and how it influences our shipments in Europe. Due to the dynamics of the current situation, please note that this information reflects the status in Europe on Wednesday, March 18 at 6:30 a.m.. It can change on short notice and we will do our best to update you accordingly if needed.
Currently, our production is running at over capacity: we are doing over hours to meet your requests and your increased demand. None of the precautionary measures adopted to deal with the Coronavirus situation have had a negative impact on the operations of our site.
As the Coronavirus situation is having an increasing impact on people’s personal lives and the business environment, we at RIPOL are certainly not excluded from this reality. It looks like some countries are closing their borders, and even within countries, there are increasing limitations in the mobility of people.
Fortunately as per today the mobility of goods has not been affected. We are in continuous contact and alignment with our forwarders. All of them continue to accept our goods for shipping within Europe and deliver them.
However, due to increased efforts at the borders, transit times of our products shipped are expected to be slightly longer than they were agreed upon with the forwarders before the outbreak of COVID-19. Consequently, our forwarders cannot guarantee concrete delivery dates. We therefore ask for your understanding that any delivery dates stated in our order confirmations need to be considered “tentative” and not binding. Please be assured that we are doing our utmost to provide a reliable supply of our products to you.
At the same time, we understand that some of you may have to adapt your production to the current situation. In this case, may we kindly ask you to update your respective RIPOL contact with any information relevant for our business relationship, particularly regarding changes in demand and warehouse closure or reduced availability times from receiving at your end.
We are closely monitoring the situation regarding shipment acceptance and transit times and are continuously evaluating alternatives. Please reach out to your contact at RIPOL if you have further questions or need to discuss your specific situation.
